Youth

Our Youth Group is an awesome group of about 120 youth from grades 7-12. We meet every Wednesday evening throughout the school year. Each week we alternate between Big Group and Small Group nights. Special events are also planned throughout the year, as well as in the summer.

Big Group Nights

On “Big Group” nights everyone meets at the Salvation Army Church (46420 Brooks Avenue) from 7:00-9:00 p.m. The night consists of games, music and a sermon. The games are a fun and interactive way to begin the night and music is presented by our two awesome Youth bands. Our Youth Pastor, Brock Adams, preaches a great sermon each week.

Big Groups promotes and achieves community and is a great place to invite your friends. We'd love for you to join us!

Small Group Nights

Small Group nights are when we meet for Bible studies at our Small Group Leader’s homes. Grades 7-9 break into groups by grade and gender. Grades 10-12 break into co-ed groups by grade. Our Small Groups present a more personal approach to pursuing our relationships with God and how we can apply the Bible to our lives. We know you will love what our Small Groups have to offer.

Events

We have awesome events throughout the year! These include our Annual All-Nighter (bowling, arcade, movies, food, laser tag, etc.), a weekend retreat at Stillwood Camp, Amazing Race in the summer, a Spring Break event, and more. Each year, we also have a summer missions trip. In the past we have gone to Mexico by bus and by plane to build houses and in 2009 we went to Vancouver to minister in the inner-city. We look forward to our next special event and invite you to come.
