Authenticity:

“Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:  Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.  And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death— even death on a cross!” Philippians 2:5-8 (NIV)

 Relevance:

We value being relevant in service, structure, style of worship and teaching.

 Discipleship:

"The seed that fell among thorns stands for those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by life's worries, riches and pleasures, and they do not mature.  But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop." Luke 8:14-15

Salvation is a free gift, but spiritual maturity does not happen without your effort.

 Community:

“Every day in the temple and in people’s homes they continued to teach and preach the Good News…” Acts 5:42, “…love one another.” John 13:34

     • Life change occurs best in the context of Small Groups.
     • Ministry happens best in Teams.

 Integrity:

“So I strive always to keep my conscience clear before God and man.” Acts 24:16 (NIV)

Integrity is doing the right thing, even if nobody is watching.

 Evangelism:

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." Matthew 28:19-20 (NIV)

 Excellence:

Excellence honors God and reflects His character.

 Engagement:

"It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ." Ephesians 4:11-15

God calls us to engage: to move from consumer to contributor.
