Southside “Core” Classes

Our mission statement is: “Southside Church exists to invite people into an authentic and deepening relationship with Jesus Christ.”

We are very encouraged and excited that so many are finding new faith in Jesus at Southside, but we want to make sure that we offer a plan that helps us continue to grow in our faith. Therefore we offer four foundational “core” discipleship classes throughout the year that are meant to be taken sequentially:

Connect (Introduction to our Church Family)

At this class you will meet our staff, find out who we are, where God is leading us and learn about the basics of the faith.
Next 101 Class: Sunday, April 15th at Southside Place, from 4:00-7:00 p.m.

Grow (Discovering Spiritual Maturity)

At this class you will learn about how to develop the two key relationships that will bring you well along the path to spiritual maturity.

Next 201 Class: Sunday, April 22nd at Southside Place, from 2:00-5:00 p.m.

Serve (Discovering my Ministry)

At this class you will learn about your very own S.H.A.P.E. for ministry! You are uniquely prepared to serve a very important purpose in the body of Christ – at this class we will help you learn about what that is.

Go! (Discovering my Mission)

At this class you will learn about Jesus’ mission on earth and why and how it applies to our lives. You will learn what it means to be an “on-mission” Christ follower.
